What It Does
Forms a conditioning film and helps improve hair strength, smoothness, and manageability.
Why Oh Daisey Rates It This Way
The finished polymer is expected to have low dermal absorption, but residual isocyanate monomers could cause irritation or sensitization if manufacturing controls are inadequate. PEG manufacturing may also introduce trace ethylene oxide or 1,4-dioxane.
