Aminomethyl Propanediol

INGREDIENT

Aminomethyl Propanediol

pH Adjuster

Avoid

Aminomethyl Propanediol is used to adjust and stabilize the pH of cosmetic formulations. Like other alkanolamines, it may cause skin or eye irritation at higher concentrations, and ingredient-specific cosmetic safety data remain limited. It also can be contaminated with secondary amines and form nitrosamines, which are carcinogenic.
