Katie James' passion for holistic skincare came after many years of struggling with not only acne but her overall health.

My journey toward wellness after an autoimmune diagnosis changed how I viewed the body and its calls for attention. I no longer saw symptoms like acne in isolation from the rest of the system and realized the skin’s ability to communicate imbalances within the body. Over the years I’ve studied Chinese Medicine and eastern bodywork, Facial Gua Sha, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Dien Chan Multireflexology (thank you to all the amazing instructors at PCOM in San Diego, Cecily Braden, Dr. Ping Zhang, Erica Layton and all my clients for constantly inspiring me to keep learning). I partnered with Botnia Skincare of Sausalito and offer their incredible line of handcrafted skincare in my treatment room, as well as Live Botanical of Portland OR which is formulated by a skin-specific herbalist of over 20 years. I strive to offer clients a simple yet effective approach to skincare and to help them achieve their beauty goals.
